As an innovative educational leader, Dr. Kay Mash has dedicated over 30 years to improving the lives of students and teachers throughout the K–12 arena. Her passion lies in developing pioneering educational strategies and resources that advance the knowledge of academic professionals, organizations, and districts.
A math teacher by craft and an educational leader by calling, Dr. Kay Mash has served in a wide range of roles, including classroom teacher, school administrator, mathematics instructional specialist, curriculum leader, instructional coach, professional-development facilitator, and consultant. Her experience spans classrooms, schools, districts, organizations, and businesses, giving her a unique perspective on how strong systems can improve outcomes at every level in all industries.

Dr. Kay Mash holds a Doctorate in Educational Leadership – Curriculum and Supervision from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. She is also a graduate of California State University, Los Angeles – Master's of Art in Educational Administration, Long Island University – Master's of Science – Secondary Education – Mathematics, and SUNY at Old Westbury, Bachelor of Science – Business Management.
A published author, researcher, presenter, and professional-development leader, Dr. Kay Mash has led numerous local and national workshops, training, and retreats for principals, district leaders, and teachers. She has presented research and strategic content at NCARE and NAPDS conferences.
Today, Dr. Kay Mash continues to work directly with high school students as a mathematics educator while also supporting young people through executive-function coaching. This combination keeps her work grounded in the everyday realities facing students, families, and educators. She also works with several businesses and schools as a consultant.
Education is bigger than the classroom. It is about preparing young people for independence, helping families navigate important decisions, equipping educators with practical tools, strengthening organizations, and transforming good ideas into sustainable systems.
